Now I start growing it out again...only another 4 years!

Well, I did it.
After much anticipation...and dread, I did it. I took the plunge and cut it. It took two friends for moral support, and a few tears, but it's gone.

AWESOME!!!
I have short (just above my shoulders)hair right now, and I'm feeling brave enough to grow it out and then donate it. You've inspired me!
